A former corporate attorney, Katherine Segal Frekko previously worked at Winston & Strawn LLP in Washington, D.C. She now focuses her time on a variety of nonprofit activities, including serving on the Board of Trustees of Lake Forest Academy, the Woman\u2019s Board of Rush University Medical Center, Northwestern University Women\u2019s Board, and Lake Forest Open Lands Association. In addition, Katie serves as a Director of the Segal Family Foundation. Katie also volunteers with Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association and has previously volunteered with various first generation to college programs..\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Katie has volunteered with the Bates Alumni in Admissions program since 1995 and served as a Class of \u201995 Lead Agent from graduation until 2015. She has also co-chaired the reunion gift committee for each of her reunions and has previously served on the Alumni Council.

At Bates, Katie majored in Political Science and did a secondary concentration in French. She was a four-year member and co-captain of the indoor and outdoor track teams. She earned a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. She lives in Lake Forest, Illinois with her husband, Matt, and their three children. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
