Helping students access the Bates network amplifies the resources and information they have to discover and explore valuable, meaningful experiences. Moreover, such guidance can help students make more informed decisions about their next steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How You Can Help<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Post your organization\u2019s jobs and internships to our recruiting platform <a href=\"https:\/\/joinhandshake.com\/employers\/\">Handshake<\/a> (utilized by close to 1,500 institutions across the US)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Consider <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bates.edu\/purposeful-work\/employers\/\">targeted engagement strategies<\/a> for reaching Bates students with your job and internship opportunities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Become an employer partner with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bates.edu\/purposeful-work\/purposeful-work-internships-2\/\">Purposeful Work Internship Program<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Help a student explore professional pathways by hosting a virtual, hybrid, or in-person <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bates.edu\/purposeful-work\/job-shadow\/sponsors\/\">Job Shadow<\/a> (with host recruitment happening in August-September and job shadows happening December-May)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participate in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bates.edu\/purposeful-work\/employer-info-session-schedule\/\">employer sessions<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bates.edu\/purposeful-work\/spotlights\/\">Industry Spotlight<\/a> events, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bates.edu\/purposeful-work\/roadshows\/\">Roadshow<\/a> programs, and other Purposeful Work activities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stay connected with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bates.edu\/alumni\/\">Alumni Engagement<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bates.edu\/parents\/\">Parents and Families<\/a>, attend Bates networking events when you\u2019re on campus, and check out <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bates.edu\/alumni\/regional-networks\/\">Bates Regional Network<\/a> events (and if you\u2019re interested in hosting, check out <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bates.edu\/alumni\/bates-and-beyond\/\">Bates &amp;
