Under a competitive program arranged in conjunction with guidance offices at area high schools, qualified high school seniors may enroll in a Bates course each semester free of charge. Upon successful completion of courses, students may request a copy of their Bates transcript.<\/h6>\n\n\n\n

Registration Procedure<\/h6>\n\n\n\n

First, students should review the the list of courses available to High School Scholars. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Public Schedule for Winter 2026<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Registration in any course is not guaranteed, and there are numerous factors that my allow or prevent registration in a given course. Students will receive confirmation of registration after submitting their registration form, linked below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students then register by submitting the Application for Course Registration for High School Scholars<\/strong><\/a>. Registrations are typically accepted beginning the week prior to the start of classes; the form is unavailable until that time. For Winter 2026, the registration form will be available beginning January 5, until Monday, January 19, 2026. Classes begin January 14, 2026. <\/strong>Please check this page for updates and email registrar@bates.edu with any questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please note that all Health Forms will need to be reviewed and approved by Bates Health Services before the Registrar’s Office can process your registration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ID Cards<\/h6>\n\n\n\n
