{"id":7235,"date":"2024-09-25T15:06:07","date_gmt":"2024-09-25T19:06:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bates.edu\/registrar\/?page_id=7235"},"modified":"2025-06-27T13:35:34","modified_gmt":"2025-06-27T17:35:34","slug":"transfer-procedure","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.bates.edu\/registrar\/academic-record\/transfer-procedure\/","title":{"rendered":"Transfer Procedure"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>If you are considering transferring out of Bates to another institution and require documentation such as the CommonApp College Report, please submit the <a href=\"https:\/\/batescollege.na2.documents.adobe.com\/public\/esignWidget?wid=CBFCIBAA3AAABLblqZhAlCmLlftYsro8gt9azH6YynkGCKban_mcKaSlWCbRSlwH2njTy7gWQVGGaiQLClf8*\">Transfer Information Release Form<\/a>, attaching relevant documentation, at least five (5) business days prior to the due date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All schools on the list provided will receive the attached form; if an institution has a different requirement, please submit a separate request for each unique form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Registrar&#8217;s Office cannot provide disciplinary records or letters of recommendation; those requests should be directed to Student Affairs and\/or Academic or Student Support Advisors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Official transcript requests are processed through <a href=\"https:\/\/www.parchment.com\/u\/registration\/33475\/account\">Parchment, Inc.<\/a>, and may be ordered through the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bates.edu\/garnet-gateway\/\">Garnet Gateway<\/a> by clicking on the \u201cTranscripts\u201d link.
