You can find that by selecting your building from the appropriate Housing Tour using the menus above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-bates-shortcodes-btn btn-wrap\"><div class=\"btn-action\" id=\"regular-new-student-arrival-august-27th\" role=\"button\" tabindex=\"0\" aria-controls=\"0bc87a12-e64e-4944-b800-1b89c8e61dc3\" aria-pressed=\"false\" aria-expanded=\"false\"><h3 class=\"btn-title\">Regular New Student Arrival: August 27th<\/h3><div class=\"btn-arrow\"><\/div><\/div><div class=\"btn-content\" id=\"0bc87a12-e64e-4944-b800-1b89c8e61dc3\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The arrival day for the new students including the class of 2030 will be on <strong>Thursday, August 27th between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What is the schedule for my parents\/guardians on Arrival Day?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The arrival window&nbsp;for students is 8am to 12pm. Once your parents\/guardians drop you at Commons to pick up your ID, they will drive directly to your residence hall. You will meet them at your residence hall after picking up your ID and other check-in items. There are some groups that will arrive on different dates, including orientation week student leaders, fall athletes, and certain groups of First-Year students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In general, students who are not involved in a leadership position for orientation or on a fall athletic team are not allowed to arrive on campus ahead of their designated arrival date. If you have an extenuating circumstance for arriving outside of the designated date(s) and time(s), please see the &#8220;Frequently Asked Questions&#8221; section of this page.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-bates-shortcodes-btn btn-wrap\"><div class=\"btn-action\" id=\"what-to-know-before-arriving-to-campus\" role=\"button\" tabindex=\"0\" aria-controls=\"8b9ee8ef-60bb-4386-bf44-da2753e035a4\" aria-pressed=\"false\" aria-expanded=\"false\"><h3 class=\"btn-title\">What to know before arriving to campus<\/h3><div class=\"btn-arrow\"><\/div><\/div><div class=\"btn-content\" id=\"8b9ee8ef-60bb-4386-bf44-da2753e035a4\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>All students arriving to campus should head to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bates.edu\/conference\/commons-2\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.bates.edu\/conference\/commons-2\/\">Commons<\/a> for check-in. Students will have their ID cards activated, receive their room key, and then may proceed to their residence hall or house to move in.  \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you are a returning student and you lost your Bates ID over the summer, be sure to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bates.edu\/access\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.bates.edu\/access\/\">request a new one<\/a> by August 29 to ensure a smooth arrival.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>PIN Access:<\/strong> If you are moving into Chu Hall, Kalperis Hall, 96 Campus Ave, or 10 Frye St., you will not need a key. Instead, your room door will be unlocked using your ID, in tandem with a 4-digit PIN.
