Abigail Nelson leads the development, implementation, and assessment of robust programming that supports the success, both academic and personal, of students with disabilities. She also serves as the student support manager for students experiencing significant and complex academic and personal challenges.
Abigail received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Clark University and a master’s of science in education from Hunter College at the City University of New York, with a specialization in rehabilitation counseling. She worked as the coordinator of disability services for adult and continuing education, and later as the director of disability initiatives, at the City University of New York. Most recently, Abigail was the director of the office of transfer and career services at Landmark College, an institution dedicated to working with students with learning disabilities, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorder.
