Bethel Kifle ’14


Civic Leadership Post-Baccalaureate Fellow AmeriCorps VISTA

Bethel Kifle works with the Harward Center for Community Partnerships and AmeriCorps for Community Partners to enhance college-aspirations programming for local youth. In the Office of Residence Life and Health Education, she uses the residential community to mobilize Bates students for volunteer work and educates student staff about the power of a collaborative relationship with the Lewiston-Auburn community.

Bethel received a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Bates in 2014, and served in the Freedom Schools Program facilitated by the Woodlawn Children’s Promise Community.
