Blake Reilly


Director of Residential Life
Blake Reilly is a live-in staff member for the Office of Residence Life and Health Education. As the Director of Residence Life, he is responsible for assessing and attributing residence damage, programmatic oversight in residential buildings, student staff selection and training, and supporting our student staff members: Junior Advisers and Residence Coordinators. Blake also assists Molly Newton with the housing process and partners with Qiu Fogarty to implement the Green Dot Bystander Intervention program, creating a safe Bates community where Bobcats look out for one another.

Blake, who started at Bates in August 2014, earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and biochemistry from Connecticut College. At Connecticut, he was a residential life leader, and since graduation has been a Young Alumni Trustee of the college.
