Molly Newton ’11<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Senior Associate Dean of Students
<\/strong>Molly Newton (she\/her), a 2011 graduate of Bates, serves as the Senior Associate Dean\u00a0of Students. She is responsible for the the holistic support of students across a variety of Student Affairs offices. Molly supervises the Offices of Accessible Education and Student Support, Community Standards, Health Services, and Well-Being. Together with the teams in these areas, Molly works to support students in navigating the challenges of college life, as well as the moments of joy along the way. Molly received her Master’s in Social Work at Smith College where she specialized in community responses to substance use and psychosocial capacity building for young adults. Prior to graduate school, Molly received her Bachelor\u2019s degree in environmental studies and geology from Bates College. Before joining Bates professionally in 2015, Molly worked with students at Bard College at Simon\u2019s Rock and Lasell College, and provided clinical support to patients at Boston Medical Center and Boston Healthcare for the Homeless.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andee Bucciarelli<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Assistant Dean of Community Standards & Deputy Title IX Coordinator
<\/strong>Andee Bucciarelli (she\/her) serves as the Assistant Dean of Community Standards and Deputy Title IX Coordinator for Students. Andee is responsible for directing the college’s community standards process to address violations of the code of student conduct. Andee works through the lenses of accountability, restoration, student support, transparency, equity & inclusion, and well-being. As the Deputy Title IX Coordinator for Students, she also responds to requests for support and works directly with students impacted by bias, harassment, and discrimination, including sexual violence. Andee holds a Master’s in Public Health from Boston University, where she specialized in community-based health programming, and sexual violence prevention. Andee received her Bachelor\u2019s degree in sociology from Hamilton College. Prior to joining Bates in 2020, she worked in social policy research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
