MUS: Audio/Video Technical Support (S99897)

Summary, Scope, and Responsibilities

Employee is expected to have some basic audio and video engineering experience. Duties include (but are not limited to): setting up and operating video camera for capture of performances, breaking down the camera and uploading the video to a Google Drive File, setting up microphones and cables, setting up and operating the powerpoint projection system (in conjunction with running the soundboard), running cables to the Olin stage snake, operating the soundboard in the sound booth for the duration of events, assisting performers/ presenters in troubleshooting technical issues, breaking down and properly storing any equipment used, operating and helping with stage lighting, working with the Olin Manager or Concert Manager to help execute events.

Requirements


Preferably some audio or video engineering experience. Training for the Olin stage will be provided upon hiring. Fast past environment, quick thinking and problem solving is required, experience with technical equipment is greatly beneficial.

Reporting


Coordinates with both the Olin Manager (staff) and the Concert Manager (student worker).
