Summary, Scope, and Responsibilities

The Special Project Student will work directly with Research Librarians 20 hours per week for 9 weeks over the summer to aid in the development of the Drupal-based data management tool “Bates Data Papers” (BDP). This limited project will involve BDP development for the storage and description of Economics data sets that will be made discoverable and accessible to others. To maximize discoverability and accessibility, the Research Services Special Project student will help develop a mechanism for migrating select BDP content to the Bates Institutional Repository SCARAB.

Must be working concurrently with Professor Nate Tefft on a separate, but related independent project and must be named Michael Varner.
