ADV: Reunion Camp Bates Coordinator (S9806X)

Summary, Scope, and Responsibilities

The Reunion Camp Bates Coordinator plans activities for around 60 children, ages 4-13 who attend Reunion with their alumni parents.

The Coordinator also talks to parents, hires and supervises counselors, and coordinates with entertainers for Reunion 2019. Housing and meals are provided during Reunion Weekend.

Specific responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:

• Oversee registration for weekend
• Correspond with parents
• Assist with contracting and scheduling events
• Publicize, recruit, interview, hire and orient 9 (remove specific number) counselors
• Put together program packets
• Oversee Camp Bates during reunion
• Provide feedback via Survey after Reunion Weekend

Required: Driver’s license Education: Current Bates student Skills: Program Planning, customer service, sense of humor, and previous experience with children.


Reports to: Danielle Beckwith, Assistant Director of Alumni and Family Engagement Supervises: Camp Bates Counselors Coordinates/Works closely with: Alumni and Family Engagement Staff and Facilities Services


Environment: Lane Hall until Reunion Weekend Travel Requirements: Walk across campus as requested, climb stairs
