SCHEDULE OF EVENTS<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

10-1pm DanceAbility Method introduction workshop<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1-2pm lunch break<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2-4pm open community class*<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4-5:30pm wrap up, reflection, discussion circle with Bates students\/staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

*Michaela will be inviting some of her students to join the community class!<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Michaela Knox<\/strong> is a Maine-based performer, choreographer, and teacher. She is the founder of Spark Inclusive Arts and a Master teacher of the Danceability method. She holds an MA in Educational Leadership from the University of New Mexico. She performed with 20 moons Dance Theatre from 2014-2018 in Durango Colorado and is currently the Artistic Director of YES Dance Theatre Ensemble in Bath, ME.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Knox is passionate about supporting others in the discovery and research of their self-expression. She considers it her life\u2019s work to help dissolve barriers between people with and without disabilities with the hope of creating a more inclusive society for all people.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
