Hi All,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As you may know, Bates, led by ILS, has partnered with Goodkind, an AI chatbot, to improve the user experience across our website. This new tool uses our site\u2019s content to provide quick answers and assistance to users \u2014 all in the chat format they’re increasingly looking for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Early Access for You<\/strong>
Before the full launch, you can try out the chatbot now at bates.edu\/wordpress<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Launch Plans<\/strong>
Our goal is to roll out the chatbot on The Quad<\/a> next week, followed by a more extensive public launch across bates.edu<\/a> and gobatesbobcats.com<\/a> in the weeks to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Keep Your Content Current<\/strong>
Because the chatbot relies on website content, it\u2019s essential to continue your work in keeping pages and uploads accurate and up-to-date. Here are two tips to help with that work:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Use the\u00a0Content Age Report\u00a0<\/em>to identify pages that haven’t been edited in years. To find the report, visit your site’s dashboard and scroll halfway down the page.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Check the\u00a0Media Library<\/em>\u00a0(sort by upload date) to identify out of date PDFs.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    This chatbot isn\u2019t perfect, but it\u2019s improving all the time. The more accurate and up-to-date our site content, the better it will perform, creating an improved user experience for everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
