Bates ranks high in final Directors' Cup standings
 Jun. 25 - Bates College ranked 57th out of the 310 NCAA Division III schools that scored points, as the final standings of the 2008-09 Learfield Sports Directors' Cup were released by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA). Women's rowing claims second place at NCAAs
 May 30 - Bates had its best showing ever in the NCAA Division III Women's Rowing Championships, claiming second place in both the team standings and in the Grand Final in convincing fashion on Saturday. STEIN, RUPASINGHE TOP BOWDOIN FOR NCAA DOUBLES TITLE
 May 24 - Ben Stein and Amrit Rupasinghe clinched Bates' first NCAA tennis doubles title Sunday night in Claremont, Calif., defeating Bowdoin's Jamie Neely and Oscar Pena 6-4, 5-7, 6-4. Read more...
