Remove mail.bates.edu – Mac Mail

These instructions will help you remove mail.bates.edu from Mac Mail.

1. Open Mac Mail.
2. Go to the Mail menu and down to Preferences.
3. Click on the Accounts tab
4. Select any of the accounts listed along the left side.
   
5. Click on the Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) drop down and select Edit SMTP Server List.
   
6. Look for any Server Name that says mail.bates.edu.
7. Click on that entry and click the “-” symbol to remove it.
   
8. Click OK.
9. Close the Preferences window and chose to Save if prompted.
