How do I stop my iPhone from connecting to Bates Open SSID?
If you have previously connected your iPhone to the Bates Open SSID WiFi and you have also connected to the Bates Secure SSID WiFi, you may notice that your iPhone may randomly reconnect you to Bates Open. In general, the Bates Open SSID is used for guest WiFi connectivity and for gaming consoles, SmartDevices, and other devices that do not provide you with a way to connect to Bates Secure.
To Forget the Bates Open SSID from your iPhone:
- Tap on Settings
- Tap on Wi-Fi
- Tap on the "i" to the left of the Bates Open SSID
- Tap on Forget This Network
- You will receive a confirmation prompt to Forget the Wi-Fi Network. Tap on Forget
