Fall Open House Schedule and Details
Bates Admission is excited to welcome you to campus for our Fall Open House! At this event, you and your family and/or supporters will have an opportunity to take a closer look at Bates.
Check back on August 15th when registration goes live!
During Fall Open House you’ll find opportunities to…
- take a tour with one of our informative student tour guides,
- have a great lunch (and desserts) in our award-winning Dining Commons,
- hear from current students and faculty about their experiences both inside and outside the classroom at Bates, and
- enjoy Fall in Maine and finish your day stunning foliage and a view of Lake Andrews (known affectionately as The Puddle).
The preliminary event schedule is listed below. The Admission team will continue to update this page with new information as we get closer to each event.

Parking and Directions to Registration
Parking is available at the Merrill parking lot. Admission staff will be available to help you find your way to registration at Chase Hall.

Tour Bates’ scenic campus and learn firsthand about the college’s community from a current student. The tour will depart from Olin Arts Center.
