This week in lab we really began wrapping our projects up for the semester.

We are raising up new fish for breeding starting next fall, and we are thinking about how to pass our work along to the next Williams Lab crew. I finished writing my thesis and sent it to my honors committee! I will be defending it against the committee on April 3rd. Quang is still working on cloning Alas2 and then he will begin learning how to microinject so he can run a gain-of-function experiment. Jacob has just sent off samples for histology analysis. And Maddy is still working on some micro-injecting in hopes of collecting some final images before the end of the semester.
