Summer Newsletter 2012: Important Dates

Some key dates for autumn 2012:
Opening of Residence Hall Rooms: Unless authorized to return early by Athletics or other official college functions, returning students may not move into college housing before Friday, Aug. 31. Meals begin with dinner on Monday, Sept. 3.
Convocation: Scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 4, beginning at 4:10 p.m. in front of Coram Library. As is our tradition, all first-year students and faculty will join in the procession for Convocation. All upperclass students are urged to attend this formal opening of the academic year.
Classes begin: Wednesday, Sept. 5.
Parents & Family Weekend: Oct. 5-7.
Inauguration of President A. Clayton Spencer: Oct. 26.
Alumni Homecoming Weekend: Oct. 26-27.
