About

Ph. D. Physics, Bryn Mawr College (1991), M.S. Physics, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (1986), B.S. Physics, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (1982)

My research interests are the dynamics in lasers and nonlinear optical systems. In recent years I have focused on nonlinear dynamics and their applications in vertical-cavity surface-emitting lasers.
