Mack of Tarrytown, N.Y., makes terra cotta sculptures that evolved from an interest in representing natural forms.

Now Mack sculpts plant leaves as she explores her long concern about humanity’s environmental impacts. Her sculptures focus on details and, she says, juxtapose “leaf forms with glass fragments to reflect the delicate and unbalanced relationship between humans and nature.”
