The Boston Herald noted the hiring of Buddy Schultz '81 as head coach of the Lobsters, the Boston entry in the professional World Team Tennis league. "I had a partiality to Bud," Lobsters CEO Bahar Uttam told the Herald, "because he's local, he's got the experience, he's been out on the (pro) circuit and appreciates what it takes for people who are on the circuit to get excited about what it means to be on the team."
