Central Asian movie critic to screen and discuss Kyrgyzstan filmGulnara Abikeyeva, a Kazakh film critic and Fulbright Scholar, will introduce the award-winning movie Beshkempir (Adopted Son) by director Aktan Abdykalykov at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, in Room G52 (the Keck Classroom) of Pettengill Hall, 4 Andrews Road. The public is invited to attend the 82-minute screening, followed by a discussion led by Abikeyeva, free of charge. Refreshments will be served. |
