Glazer performs Beethoven, Schubert, Chopin

Frank Glazer, a resident artist at Bates College since 1980 and arguably Maine’s best-known pianist, plays Beethoven, Schubert and Chopin at 7 p.m. Friday, April 5, in the Olin Arts Center Concert Hall at Bates, 75 Russell Street. The concert is free and open to the public.

New England Piano Quartette returns

One of northern New England’s premiere chamber ensembles, the New England Piano Quartette, brings music by Mahler, Mozart and Chausson performs at 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2 in the Olin Arts Center Concert Hall.

New England Piano Quartette to perform

The New England Piano Quartette will perform the annual Alvin E. David Concert with works by Beethoven, Martinu and Faure at 8 p.m. Friday, March 3, in the Olin Arts Center Concert Hall at Bates College. Noonday concerts continue at Bates

The Bates College Noonday Concert series continues its winter season with a selection of programs throughout February. The free concerts, open to the public, will be held Tuesdays from 12:30 to 1 p.m. at the college’s Olin Arts Center Concert Hall, 75 Russell St.
