This year has presented great challenges to prospective college students, their families, and the counselors who support them. In recognition of these extraordinary circumstances, Bates has moved our Early Decision II and Regular Decision application deadlines to Monday, January 11, 2021. 

Additionally, Bates is test-optional and has been for over 35 years! We also offer application fee waivers if needed and waivers for a second teacher letter of recommendation should that be a barrier to submitting an application.
