Welcome to our two new Religious Studies Professors!

Dr. Halla Attallah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Religion and a Bachelor of Science in Speech and Hearing Studies from the University of Washington; a Masters in Middle East and Islamic Studies from the American University of Paris, and a PhD, in Theological and Religious Studies from Georgetown University.
In fall 2025 she will teach:
REL 120 – Muslims, Christians, and Jews
REL 112 – Introduction to Islam

Dr. Anderson Moss holds a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies and History from Young Harris College; a Masters in Religious Studies from the University of Georgia, Athens; and a PhD in Religious Studies from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville.
In fall 2025 he will teach:
REL 140 – Religion, Race, and Colonialism: An Introduction to Religious Studies
REL 255 – African American Religious Traditions
