From the Field
The Environmental Studies Program faculty and students are involved in community engaged research projects and internships locally and across the globe. “From the Field” provides you access to reports and photographs authored by students and faculty that will give you insight into some of the ES focused work they have accomplished with community members.
Over the years, student groups in the course Community-Engaged Research in Environmental Studies- ENVR 417 have completed project reports for their community members in Lewiston and Auburn and surrounding communities. The reports from 2013 and beyond can be viewed at the following site: ES Community-Engaged Research. Projects from previous years that revolved around the Androscoggin River Watershed are available on the Androscoggin River Portal.
Students have also submitted photographs from their environmentally focused internships and Otis fellowships. You can view them on these pages: Otis Fellowship Photographs and ES Internship Photographs.
