Marc Yves Regis photography exhibit opens
Photographer and poet Marc Yves Regis I will lecture at the opening of his exhibit Mississippi & Haiti: Two Peoples’ Struggle to Survive Social Injustices at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12, in the lower gallery of the Museum of Art at Bates College, Olin Arts Center, 75 Russell St.
Regis will speak about his field experience in Haiti and Mississippi and read his poetry. A reception will follow.Regis is the author of a book of poetry Haiti Through My Eyes and a photographic documentary Deadly Road to Democracy, both published by Jukejoint Press.
