Studying Abroad: The Student Eye

After sharing a meal at the end of a two-week homestay with a Zulu family in rural Ohwebede, my host siblings encouraged me to take out my camera for one last photo shoot. At the suggestion of one of my host brothers, we used an old side-view mirror, the only reflecting device used for miles, to capture our faces in an interesting composition of layered glasses. — Amy Lareau  ’09
