HONORS NOMINATION DEADLINE
- Advisors – Recommendation forms must be submitted via the online Nomination form.
- Any nomination after this date will be refused unless the Honors Study Committee grants an exception. Recommendation forms must be submitted via the online form found here: https://www.bates.edu/honors/honors-student-nomination-form/
- Advisors should check with potential Outside Examiners regarding their availability for the pertinent exam period before submitting a Nomination Form.

- Deadline for candidates to submit a titled, one-paragraph description (250 words maximum) of the thesis.
- One-paragraph descriptions must be uploaded here as a Microsoft Word document or a PDF.

THESIS CORRECTIONS DUE
THESIS CORRECTION FORM and ACCESS AND EMBARGO FORM DUE
No later than 4:00 pm:
- Student uploads the final copy of the Honors thesis on SCARAB. Step by step instructions.
- Advisor submits the Thesis Correction Form (student signature is not needed)
- Student initiates the Access and Embargo Form, which is then signed by the advisor(s) and candidate
