December 2020 GRADUATE SCHEDULE

Friday, September 11, 2020
HONORS NOMINATION DEADLINE
Deadline for nomination of December 2020 graduates to the Honors Program. Any nomination after this date will be refused unless the Honors Study Committee grants an exception. Recommendation forms, indicating Thesis deadline, must be submitted to Alison Keegan in the Dean of the Faculty’s Office, 120 Lane Hall, mgresh@bates.edu.

Advisors should check with potential Outside Examiners regarding their availability for the pertinent exam period  before submitting a Nomination Form.

HONORS THESIS ABSTRACT DRAFT SUBMISSION
Deadline for candidates to submit a titled, one-paragraph description (250 words maximum) of the thesis. One-paragraph descriptions must be submitted as Microsoft Word in an email attachment to mgresh@bates.edu

CORRECTED THESIS AND THESIS CORRECTION, ACCESS, AND EMBARGO FORM DUE
No later than 3 PM, upload the final copy of the Honors thesis on SCARAB.  For instructions, see
https://www.bates.edu/honors/files/2016/09/SCARABUploadingFinalCopy_REVISED.pdf

No later than 3 PM, submit copies of the Thesis Correction Form and the Access and Embargo Form, signed by the advisor and candidate, to your department or program’s AAA.(akeegan@bates.edu).

HONORS ORIENTATION ZOOM 
Orientation via Zoom, 5:30 – 7:00 PM. Honors Thesis nominees will have the opportunity to see members of the Honors Committee, receive information, and have a Q&A session.
