Starting January 1, 2026, for select journals published by Elsevier and Springer, a new document delivery service called Article Galaxy Scholar will be available for Bates faculty, staff, and senior students. 

Faculty members working with a non-senior student as a research assistant can fill out this form to request that they can use this service.

This service will allow users to request instant access to PDF files of articles from these journals. To use this service, search for the journal article you are seeking in LibrarySearch and then follow the “Request PDF” link to complete a request.

This service supplements our traditional interlibrary loan services. First-year, sophomore, and junior students may use our standard interlibrary loan service to request PDF files.
