Summer Newsletter 2011: Sustainable Bates
Greetings from sustainability coordinator Julie Rosenbach.
Bates has begun single-stream recycling! Now you can recycle everything in one bin — no sorting — and we’re able to recycle more types of materials, including:
- All paper products (if it tears, it’s recyclable)
- All plastic containers (nos. 1-7)
- All glass bottles and jars
- Aluminum foil, cans (tin, steel and aluminum) and empty aerosol containers.
