What could be a better representation of a year of hard academic work than students proudly presenting their academic research and discoveries to anyone who walks up to them? 

The Mount David Summit is more than an opportunity for students to get experience breaking down often difficult terminology into something easily understood; it’s an opportunity for them to feel a sense of accomplishment, and — a hard-won gift during a pandemic — a chance to interact with their peers, mentors, and family in a celebration of their final year at Bates.

Spread throughout the interior of Pettingill Hall, away from the rain dripping outside, the air feels alive and full of promise as the class of 2022 showcases the fruits of their labor.
