A Rhetoric, Film, and Screen Studies major prepares students to work in a wide range of fields, including politics, broadcast journalism, education, advocacy/activism, video game design, film/television, and more.

Matt Chlastawa (2020) completed his MBA at Fairfield University and now teaches high school in Alamo, Texas as part of the Teach for America program.

Victoria Arjoon (2019)

Victoria Arjoon (2019) is a Multimedia Coordinator and Producer at Reel Guyana, a video production and marketing company in Georgetown, Guyana.  Reel Guyana’s recent short documentary Eco Travellers was the first Guyanese film to be played theatrically.

Sarika Subramaniam (2014) completed a Master’s in Behavioral and Decision Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania in the Spring 2022 and is interested in Market Research and UX Research opportunities. Prior to UPenn, Sarika worked in advertising in New York and Boston building traditional and digital advertising campaigns for clients like Bank of America, MindBody and iRobot.

Elizabeth Rynecki (1991)

Elizabeth Rynecki (1991) is an author, documentary film producer. Her first book: Chasing Portraits: A Great-Granddaughter’s Quest for Her Lost Art Legacy was published by NAL/Penguin Random House in 2016. Her documentary film, CHASING PORTRAITS, had its world premiere in 2018 and is distributed by First Run Features. She is the family archivist for the works of her great-grandfather, Moshe Rynecki.
