The Boston Globe invites Peck '11 to discuss Nepal semester

A regular feature in the The Boston Globe‘s travel section, “World Class,” allows college students to share their study-abroad experiences, which is how environmental studies major Judson Peck ’11 of Topsham, Vt., got the chance to talk about his fall semester in Nepal. Based in Katmandu, where he lived with a host family, Peck traveled to the remote village of Thamo to research high-altitude greenhouses  and food growing. “Watching the sun set over Everest was definitely a highlight,” Peck says.
