Each year Bates welcomes applications from students who wish to transfer to Bates. We greatly appreciate your interest in Bates and through the admissions process would like to help you determine if Bates might be a better fit for you. To start, please check the guidelines for eligibility as a transfer student.

**Bates College will offer January 2010 Admissions**

Transfer 2009-2010 Admissions Deadlines:

• Nov. 1 January 2010 admissions application
• Nov. 15  Complete on-campus interview
• Nov. 23 Notification of Bates January 2010 Admissions decision
• Dec. 7 Deadline for January 2010 Admissions Candidate's reply and $300 deposit
• Jan. 1  Non-U.S. citizens September transfer admissions & financial aid applications
• Feb. 15  Request an alumni interview, completed no later than March 1
• Feb. 15  Financial aid application for September transfer admissions
• Mar. 1  U.S. citizens September transfer admissions application
• Mar. 31  Notification of Bates Admissions decision
• May 1  Deadline for Candidate's reply and $300 deposit
• Jun. Send two official copies of your final transcript to Admissions
