Each year Bates welcomes applications from students who wish to transfer to Bates. We greatly appreciate your interest in Bates and through the admissions process would like to help you determine if Bates might be a better fit for you. To start, please check the guidelines for eligibility as a transfer student.

Transfer 2008-2009 Admissions Deadlines:

• Nov. 15  Complete on-campus interview
• Jan. 1  Non-U.S. citizens September transfer admissions & financial aid applications
• Feb. 15  Request an alumni interview, completed no later than March 1
• Feb. 15  Financial aid application for September transfer admissions
• March 1  U.S. citizens September transfer admissions application & the Bates College Mid-Semester Grade Report
• April 21  Notification of Bates Admissions decision
• May 15  Deadline for Candidate's reply and $300 deposit
• June Send two official copies of your final transcript to Admissions
