We are so happy you are planning to join us for Chinese classes at Bates, and we’re looking forward to meeting you this fall. The following form is designed to help you connect with the Chinese faculty at Bates in order to determine your proficiency level and to place you in the proper course. You will receive information soon regarding the placement test (Avant PLACE) to be taken on your own over the summer.
