In March 2023, the Politics Department revised its major requirements. The new curriculum is
required of all Politics majors beginning with the class of 2027.

Politics majors in the classes of 2025 and 2026 have the option of using the new curriculum,
however they may do so only in consultation with their Politics advisor. Some of the changes
may create complications, especially for those who are already far along in fulfilling their
existing requirements.

The old and the new major have separate declaration forms. A complete description of each
