Disciplinary Processes
Following an initial inquiry and evaluation, the College provides three main pathways for addressing alleged violations of the Code of Student Conduct. The Assistant Dean and Senior Associate Dean of Students refer cases to the method of resolution deemed most appropriate based on the facts available at the point of initial evaluation. For cases alleging potential bias, harassment, or discrimination based on identity, or sexual misconduct, all resolutions shall follow the procedures outlined in the Equal Opportunity, Non-Discrimination, and Anti-Harassment Policy.
The College may address student academic and social misconduct through its own processes and apply sanctions governing the terms of membership in the College. The College reserves the right to deal with misconduct whether or not law enforcement agencies are involved and/or criminal charges may be pending.
The College may utilize any of the following processes and procedures in cases of misconduct, depending on the situation and severity.
