Now open in a sleekly renovated section of Coram Library, the Bates College Imaging and Computing Center leads this week's update.

Hey baba rebar: On Jan. 16, workers prepared forms and rebar for the final section of the new dining Commons' concrete frost wall. The fireplace lounge will be situated here.

Many of us give little thought to heating season until it's time to get the furnace cleaned. Not surprisingly, ensuring that Bates' new student housing would be warm for its first heating season took a bit more effort.
