Campus Life and the BCSG are pleased to announce the election process for seats on the 2026-27 Bates College Student Government. The positions up for election are:

• Three Class Representative seats for the class year of 2030, running individually

All candidates must submit their own Self-Nomination Form. Self-nominations will be accepted from Monday, September 14th at 8:00pm until Thursday, September 24th at 4:00pm ET. 

All candidates are required to attend one of two Candidate Information Meetings. Candidates may not begin campaigning until after attending a meeting. Failure to attend, or send a proxy, will result in disqualification.

The 2026 BCSG Election will take place from Monday, September 28th to Wednesday, September 30th on Bates Engage. Election results will be announced via email by Friday, October 2nd.
