Student-Faculty Complaints
There is no formal way to make a complaint against a staff member as a student that doesn't feel like we are tattling out or running straight to Josh McIntosh to complain. A formal online submission that is reviewed for validity by a section of student government would be great, make it anonymous or not. I know from discussion with multiple other students that there are certain faculty members that should 100% be reviewed for their actions.
Firstly, this is an amazing idea, and I agree with you that there should be a formal way for students to make complaints concerning faculty This is something that we can definitely see happening in the fall. What we can do immediately is discuss this with the dean of faculty's office to make sure that the complaints we bring to them are clearly reviewed and taken seriously. We will get right on this and make sure that the formal submission forms are well advertised. Thank you!
