About
Linh Nguyen joins Bates as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics in 2020. Her current research is in the field of development economics, focusing on agriculture, urban-rural migration and land market liberalization. Her recent papers study the impact of land titling program on migration and improved seed adoption. Her work has been published in the Journal of Development Studies.
Prof. Nguyen teaching interests include Principles of Macro, Principles of Micro, Development Economics. She has taught Statistics at Notre Dame, where she got her PhD.
