Environmental/outdoor artists available for photo opportunity

Internationally acclaimed environmental/outdoor artists Sara Pearson and Patrik Widrig will be available at 2 p.m, July 16 for a photo opportunity on the location of their newly commissioned site-specific dance performance, A Curious Invasion, inspired by Maine Audubon’s Gilsland Farm Sanctuary, located on 118 U.S. Route 1 in Falmouth. The choreographers will choose from the various field and forest habitats to inspire their movement. Photographers can meet Pearson and Widrig at the Maine Audubon Environmental Center (at the end of the Audubon access road).

Directions to Gilsland Farm Sanctuary:

From the North: Take I-95 to Exit 10. Make a left on Bucknam Road and turn right on U.S. Route 1. Go south for one mile. Bear right at the blinking light at the intersection of routes 1 and 88. Gilsland Farm is on the right.

From the South: Take 295 to Exit 9. Continue 1.9 miles north on U.S. Route 1. Turn left on Old Route 1 at Maine Audubon sign. Gilsland Farm is immediately before the intersection of routes 1 and 88.
