What is Campus Life? Guest Nick Dressler, Assistant Dean of Students for Campus Life, will share an overview of the work of the Campus Life team and the ways they are adapting to serve Bates students during COVID.
Then, you’ll meet other current Bates families through two interactive breakout sessions to connect you to others in your geographic area and in your student’s class.

Supporting Your Bates First-Gen Student

A panel of students, alumni, faculty, and staff will offer perspectives on what it means to be a first-generation-to-college student at Bates. We will host small breakout sessions to help build connections among our first-gen families and to hear from you about what future programming would be of interest.
Offered in partnership with OIE/Bobcat First! Registration will open mid-March.

The Center for Purposeful Work helps students discover the joy and power that arise from aligning who they are with what they do.
Guest Allen Delong, Senior Associate Dean and Director of the Center for Purposeful Work, will share an overview of the Purposeful Work offerings and offer perspective on the many resources available to students throughout their Bates career.
Then, you’ll meet other current Bates families through two interactive breakout sessions to connect you to others in your geographic area and in your student’s class.
