A quick, important reminder: first-year and transfer students must complete their Fall 2025 course selections in Garnet Gateway by 4 p.m. ET this Wednesday, July 23.

This required step is essential for building your student’s first-semester schedule. Students can find detailed course selection instructions in the July 9 email sent by the First-Year Experience team, and may also refer to their Summer Resources Lyceum Page for registration instructions and guidance. If they need support, their Summer Registration Consultant and the First-Year Experience team are ready to help.

While fall course schedules will be released around August 8, students should continue to check their Bates email regularly for updates. Two more online orientation resource modules will open for students over the next two weeks, and these will need to be completed prior to arrival on campus.
