Texas (Virtual) Summer Welcome Reception
We invite you to join us for this virtual event for Texas families. This session will provide incoming parents and guardians with a peer-to-peer perspective on Bates from current families who are also from Texas.
You can submit questions in advance on the registration form, and there will be time for general Q&A with families and staff. Then, we will spend the rest of our virtual time together getting to know one another as we build connections with other Class of 2030 families and with Bates.

What to expect:
- This event will feature hosts from Dallas and is an opportunity to socialize with other new Bates families in the region.
- This event is intended for parents and guardians of incoming students. The conversation is designed specifically for families to connect, ask questions, and prepare for the transition to Bates.
- The host group of families will share their experiences and will answer general questions.
- College staff will be available to moderate and respond to questions.
- This session will not be recorded.
- Please register by July 29.
