Founder & Owner, Elevation Roofing LLC
Bryn Mawr, PA
Years of Service: 2024–2029
Hob Brooks is founder and owner of Elevation Roofing LLC, a residential roofing company focused on providing a truly exceptional experience for the discerning homeowner on Philadelphia’s Main Line. After years of frustration dealing with residential contractors, Brooks decided to leave a decade long career in management consulting to set out on a mission to truly disrupt and transform the residential services customer experience, providing not only a best in class roof, but also a first of its kind customer experience from initial outreach through post-installation service and support.
Prior to founding Elevation, Brooks was a management consultant and served as managing director and partner with the Boston Consulting Group, where he had been for nearly a decade, focused primarily on transaction and transformation engagements in the healthcare sector. Prior to BCG, Brooks was senior director of business development at Wolters Kluwer Health, where he focused on identifying and negotiating key strategic partnerships for the business and assisted in pipeline creation for corporate development opportunities. Earlier in his career Brooks worked in sales and sales management roles with SAGE Publications and Thomson Reuters.
At Bates, Brooks was a history major and co-captain of the men’s indoor and outdoor track and field teams. Immediately after his graduation from Bates, Brooks worked in Admission as a counselor and served as an assistant coach for the track teams. He went on to earn a master’s in education from Tufts University and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Brooks has been a member of the Alumni Council, worked as an Admission volunteer, and has been actively involved in Purposeful Work, both as a speaker and a mentor for students who are considering consulting as a career.
Brooks served on the board of trustees of the Philadelphia Ballet from 2019 to 2024.
Brooks and his wife, Tilottama “Riya” Sen, live in Philadelphia with their three children, Arden, Harrison, and Kai. His father, Robert A. Brooks, is a member of the class of 1975. .
