About

I have spent the largest part of my 24 year career working in the field of microscopy. The first 16 years at the Jackson Laboratory working in and managing their Imaging Sciences core, followed by a 6 year stint at Yale. There I worked in the cell biology department managing a super resolution microscopy development lab. I joined Bates in 2021, and now oversee all the microscopy equipment on campus, manage the research greenhouse in Carnegie, and serve as backup to the vivarium coordinator.
